




Low growing, wooly foliage grey in appearance, not quite as mat-forming as some other Antennaria species. Flower heads with reddish-pink bracts, flowers measured at 1 cm long in a dense panicle. Basal leaves spatulate, pointed at apex, white woolly on both sides. Basal leaf measured 2.5 cm long and 8 mm wide. Stem leaves are alternate, clasping to sessile, lanceolate, typical leaf measured at 2 cm long and 4 mm wide.
Habitat is meadows and moist hillsides. Fairly common in the Cypress Hills.
Height listed in Budd's Flora to 50 cm. We measured plants to 21 cm tall.
