Chrysopsis villosa - photos and description

Many stems from a woody rootstock. Growth habit is prostrate to decumbent. Quite floriferous, yellow daisy-like fowers about 25 mm across. Long bloom period from early July through the end of summer. Leaves are alternate, oblong-oblanceolate, 1.5 cm long, 0.5 cm wide, greyish colour.

Common to dry prairie throughout Saskatchewan.

Above plant was 15 cm tall.
