



Weak stemmed perennials with bright yellow flowers in July. Flowers often with some red spotting and a hairy lower lip. Flowers to 3 cm wide and 4 cm long. Leaves are round to oblong, opposite, irregularly toothed, up to 6 cm long and 4 cm wide. Lower leaves with petioles, upper leaves clasping the stem.
Located in Saskatchewan in the Cypress Hills where we've round them on the edges of streams and springs.
Rare, listed as an S2 by the Saskatchewan Conservation Data Centre.
Height from 15 cm to 65 cm.
Seed for these plants are available commercially, we've grown them in a shady spot under our bird bath, easy from seed.
