Achillea tomentosa

On the edge of our rock garden

Foliage is a dense mat of woolly leaves. Flowers are a bright yellow colour, and are displayed in a flat corymb typical of Achillea. Has a spreading nature, but is easily dug up and removed.

Begins blooming in June. Best in full sun, good rock garden plant. Maureen likes this more than I, I think it's rather blah.

Grows 6" to 8" tall, will form a wide patch if you let it.

Hardy to zone 2.

Glen's score:  5.
