Clusters of tubular purple-pink flowers appear at the end of each stem. Very floriferous from late May through early July, a great rock garden plant.

Jelitto and Schacht write should be grown in dry, sunny sites.

We grew several of these plants from seed a few years ago, has proven hardy in our garden.

Height to 6", spread of 12".

Hardy zone 4.
