Anacyclus depressus

Underside of flowers are red, giving and interesting red and white colouring

Prostrate mat of ferny, dark foliage, and nice sized white daisy-like flowers with red undersides. Flowers close in the evenings and on cloudy days. Many flowers per plant. Begins blooming in May, finishes in July.

For full sun and good drainage, well suited for rock gardens.

Not terribly long lived in our experience, but easy to start a few seedlings indoors each spring.

Height of 3", spread of 15" in 2 years.

Hardy to zone 4.

Glen's score:  7.
