Large pinkish-purple flowers with a reddish-coloured stripe in the centre of each petal. Quite showy when blooming.
Blooms later than C. 'Jackmanii' and C. 'Ville de Lyon'.
Blooms on new wood, which makes it ideal for cold climates - there is no need to protect the old growth over winter. Each spring, we cut this vine back to about 10 inches from the ground.
Hardy zone 3.
Height is 10 feet, spread of about 4 feet.
