Eriogonum ovalifolium v. nivale

Mat forming greyish white foliage, quite attractive. Globular flower clusters which start out a greenish-yellow colour and age through to orange shades.

Rock garden plant, requiring good drainage and full sun. The photo of the above plant is in its 3rd year in our garden.

Bought 3 of these plants... after 2 winters, 1 has died, 1 is just surviving, and 1 is going strong. Marginally hardy it seems in my rock garden for some reason.

Hardy zone 3.

Height of flower stalk of about 12 cm, spread to 15 cm.

Glen's score:  9 of 10.
