Geranium phaeum 'Variegatum'

Highly variegated foliage of cream and purple blotches on green.

Flowers are dark purple and on the small side. Blooms in June for us.

Slow to spread. Needs to be grown in shade.  Good-sized, bushy plants, 20" tall, and at least as wide.  This plant's foliage variegation, the cream splotches, seems to increase as summer rolls on. In June there are just some purple spots on the all-green leaves, the cream-colouring appears gradually over summer.

Hardy to zone 2.

Glen's score:  8.
