Splashes of light purple on white make for eye-catching flowers. Flowers begin in mid June.
This plant is a big bruiser of a thing, about 3 foot high in our garden, and is a bit too much 'all leaves and no flowers' for my taste.
We grew several from seed a few years ago. Eventually turfed them all - big uninteresting things when not flowering.
Thompson & Morgan list as hardy zone 4, likely at least 1 zone hardier than that.
