Geranium praetense striatum 'Splish Splash'

Large serrated leaves, flowers displayed at top of plant, in a crowded garden border

Splashes of light purple on white make for eye-catching flowers. Flowers begin in mid June.

This plant is a big bruiser of a thing, about 3 foot high in our garden, and is a bit too much 'all leaves and no flowers' for my taste.

We grew several from seed a few years ago. Eventually turfed them all - big uninteresting things when not flowering.

Thompson & Morgan list as hardy zone 4, likely at least 1 zone hardier than that.

Height of 3 feet, spread of 3 feet.

Glen's score:  5.
