Good looking shade plant.  Large, deeply cut, dark green leaves.  In mid summer, spikes of deep yellow, star-shaped flowers emerge from the foliage.

Does not like sun, nor very dry soil.

Hardy zone 3.

The above plant was grown from seed and is 2 years old, easy from seed.

These are large plants, need lots of room.  Height of 5-6 feet, an will spread in a few years of years to form a mound 5 feet wide.
