Superb foliage plant. We grow them in shade and partial shade. Do not let it dry out, or the leaves will begin to burn.

Begins blooming in mid to late June.  The large flower spikes have a very nice scent.  Plant this somewhere where you can walk by and enjoy its flowers' fragrance.

Hardy zone 4.

Foliage grows about 18" - 24" tall for us, flower spikes to 36". Will eventually form a clump 4-5 feet wide.
