Saponaria ocymoides

Rock garden plant covered with pink flowers in early to mid June here in zone 3. Quite a showy plant. A vigorous grower when happy, forms a good sized mound of foliage and flowers in only a couple of years.

We find they perform best in full sun, gets too floppy if in much shade.

Height of about 15 cm, spread of 50 cm in 3 years.

Hardy zone 2.
