Clouds of pink blooms in June, quite nice. Delicate small leaves, similar to Aquilegia, hence its common name - Columbine Meadow Rue.
Ours have grown to 5 feet in height, a couple of feet taller than what's listed for them in the reference books. Bushy, too, we have to give these plants plenty of room.
In our experience, need good air circulation around this plant. Quite susceptible to powdery mildew in our experience.
We grow them in partial shade.
Hardy to zone 3.
