Native to Japan and the Kurile Islands, spreading growth habit, and blue flowers in late June.

We grow these in rich soil in partial shade. Grew them from seed. Lasted 3 years in our garden, finally died out.

Grows 15 cm tall, spread up to 30 cm.

Hardy to zone 4 or 5.
